Thane Palghar District Rural Muslim Welfare Organisation
Established in the month of 18 Sep 1984 by a Great philanthropist residing in the rural areas of Thane & Palghar District’s nooks & corners, having their credentials in the common Muslim communities residing in these areas, along with great social workers & reformers. This organisation has developed to help socially and economically downtrodden people living in the rural areas of Thane & Palghar districts in the form of the Muslim minority community. It has culminated into a full-fledged NGO catering to lakhs of people, helping them with their Social, Medical, & Educational needs.
Education For All
Our key educational initiatives include:
School Enrollments: Admitting out-of-school and slum children into mainstream education.
Support to Zilla Parishad Schools: Providing teachers in Urdu-medium schools through Tanzeem’s own funding, without government aid.
Scholarship Programs: Providing financial assistance and merit-based scholarships to deserving students from economically weaker sections, helping them continue higher education.
Skill Development & Computer Training: Equipping youth with employable skills under the Skill India initiative, including plumbing and vocational workshops in collaboration with Pratham NGO.
Healthcare for All
Our healthcare initiatives include:
Tanzeem’s Mobile Medical Van Project ensures that essential healthcare reaches even the most interior villages of Maharashtra. Our dedicated team of doctors and health workers visit 10 zones on a rotational schedule, providing medical check-ups, medicines, camps.
